2009-04-07 Starting our migration over to SBS 2008. Migrating the Sharepoint site across, and then getting the exchange data across will be our first tasks.

2009-03-04 Just achieved Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status. We have pretty well tested out SBS 2008 in our test lab, and deployed it several times - so we are planning to switch over as soon as time becomes available.

2008-11-14 Still using SBS 2008 in our test lab (the RTM Version), we are getting more familiar with the OS and are planning our migration now. We are also looking at using Essential Business Server for our Production Network, after we eval it for a while.

We are currently testing Windows Small Business Server 2008. There are some very cool new features that come packaged with SBS 2008. Drive mappings are now taken care of in Group Policy Preferences, instead of having to create a script for user logons. Printer mappings can be handled the same way.

We will be attending the SBS 2008 Partner Group Tour, in Redmond, WA this September.
There were some very useful tips put out at the SBS2008 PGT. Especially regarding migration of SBS2003 domains to 2008. One partner suggested using NetDom to rename and repoint the new server after the migration.

Response Point is up and running in our office. The automated Attendant feature really cuts down on telemarketing calls! Voicemail messages are routed to our email, which is very convenient when we're out of the office. And we've integrated it with SBS 2003R2 Monitoring and reporting to make things even easier to keep track of.
